Fast Films: One year after Jim Hall and Hap Sharp blew up the established order of things at Sebring with their Chapparal, the world’s top teams gathered to see if the boys from Midland could do it again. This is a serious video about the 1966 12 Hour of Sebring. The comments surrounding it are very positive and the King Rose Archives, listed as the supplier of the video to You Tube, did a terrific job in finding the clips and putting it all together. Some great names in this one–Dan Gurney, Graham Hill, rally expert Paddy Hopkins, Phil Hill, Bob Tulius. It even has the legendary racing reporter/announcer Chris Economaki. It’s approximately 30 minutes long and there’s a rather long (over 1 minute) intro promotional..but stay with it. Settle in for a very done piece of history.
