It’s Friday, 4 November 2016. The Chicago Cubs will have their victory parade today in Chicago after winning a dramatic game 7 against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night. And, we are headed into the final weekend for the 2016 National Elections–it has been certainly the rudest, most contentious, and vulgar campaign in American history. But it will soon be over and hopefully, the ugly attitude that surfaced during this election year will go away and be replaced by this one thought: we’ve got some issues and we need to deal with them. Now. So…to all you politicians who tell us how much you’re going to do for everyone, if you are elected–do it, and not just for your friends or donors. Make it better for everyone, please. Meanwhile, the world goes on. Below, the front pages of the world’s great newspapers are just a click away and don’t forget to check out FiveThirtyEight.com at the end of the list, for a statistical take on our modern life and world.
