The Comey/Trump squabble continues in Washington with no end to the “he said/he said” comments. Only one thing is certain: the investigation into Russian hacking in the U.S. elections is going to wider as well as deeper.
Britain is facing a “hung parliament” after Prime Minister Theresa May gambled and lost big on an election to consolidate her power. She won, but did not win a majority. Right now, the British press are calling the election a “big mess”.
The highflying tech stocks took a hit yesterday as the NASDAQ 100 fell 2.4% on Friday. Have tech stocks? They most likely went down.
The Cleveland Cavaliers put on a record-setting show in last night’s NBA playoff game, winning 137 to 116 and stopping the Warrior’s perfect playoff run. Next game is Sunday night, in Oakland. Warriors Coach Steve Kerr was typically straightforward about it: “they brought a level of physicality we did not match”.
The French Open concludes this weekend, with the Women’s Championship on Saturday and the Men’s on Sunday.
