The Senate finally unveiled its’ health care bill, crafted behind closed doors. It has been called a “worse version” of the House health care bill.At least three Republicans will vote against it, which will doom the effort. The whole health care legislation area is a minefield, and, as one analyst put it,” the party that owns it will pay a price in the next election”. Oh boy.
President Trump has admitted that he does not have tapes of any conversations he had with former FBI head James Comey, ending speculation about that topic after weeks of delay. However–no one has said that Comey doesn’t have tapes; Comey does have a set of rather spectacularly crafted memos.
European countries have started waiving visa requirements for short stay visit for Ukrainians. The change in requirements became effective on 11 June 2017 and has resulted in a new level of travel freedom the residents of Ukraine.
The Church of England colluded with one of its’ bishops over a period of almost two decades to cover up “serial abuse” of young men and boys, in yet another sad scandal.
