Press Clippings:
Good Morning, it’s Wednesday, 27 September 2017 and this is the Early Morning edition of The Nightshift, the world’s overnight news feed.
It’s over for the Obamacare repeal. The proposed vote on the contentious issue has been withdrawn. Perhaps a totally new look at health care should be taken, not one that just deals with the cost of insurance premiums but the underlying cost of medical care, which has spiraled up and out of control. A short course in medical economics might help lawmakers if they are really serious about re-setting the healthcare system in the U.S.
Puerto Rico is in very difficult shape. Power is out (and will be out for months), key supplies are in short order, and relief is not yet readily available. The White House has been on the sidelines for this one–is this President Trump’s Katrina?
Judge Roy Moore won the U.S. Senate primary contest in Alabama, beating a candidate, Luther Strange, endorsed by President Trump. Steve Bannon backed Roy Moore. So much for White House influence.

The Nightshift is a production of Perception Engineering and The Media Bunker. This post is number 1376 for this site. The Nightshift is a continually evolving experiment in news communications. Currently, comments on the world’s news have been (severely) limited and a photo of one important story of the day is often included. It’s rapid iteration. Thanks for reading.
