Good Morning, it’s Wednesday, 18 October 2017, and this is the Morning Edition of The Nightshift.
The U.K. is struggling with precisely how and when to exit the European Union. There is some thinking that maybe it was all a very bad idea that needs a lot more consideration. We shall see.
Bob Weinstein–Harvey Weinstein’s brother and co-founder of The Weinstein Company and MiraMax–has been accused of sexual harassment. It’s spinning out of control for the Weinsteins.
The New York Yankees beat the Houston Astros in game 4 of their 7 game series, winning last night by the score of 6 to 4. The Astros took an early 4-0 lead but the Yankees, playing at home, crept back into the game for the win. The series is now tied 2-2. The teams will play again tonight. Also, the Cubs lost to the Dodgers, by the score of 6-1. The Cubs have not looked sharp during the post season and they are now down 3-0 in the best of seven series.
Today is National Chocolate Cupcake Day. Sounds great to me.
