Good Morning, it’s Monday, 5 March 2018, and this is the Morning Edition of The Nightshift.
The Academy Awards were handed out last night. “The Shape of Water” won for Best Picture; the film’s director, Gullermo Del Toro, won for Best Director; Francis McDormand won for Best Actress for her role in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri; Gary Oldham won for Best Actor for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour; Sam Rockwell for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”; and Allison Janney won Best Supporting Actress for “I, Tonya”. Here’s the complete list of winners.
