Jeeez…..we are living in WTF times, are we not. More people are acting on emotion than logic–especially in terms of politics and general civility–and in the process, we’ve set America back fifty years, with marches, demonstrations, police violence, property destruction, national leadership that sucks, self-serving politicians, random shootings, and firebombings. Really, enough is enough. We’ve been here before, and obviously didn’t learn the lessons well or we would not be repeating again. So, let’s return to the scene of the scenes, with one of the greatest songs ever produced, written and performed by the inemitable Marvin Gaye. Here’s a video of a live performance of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye, from 1972. If we’re going to have this chaos, let’s learn the lesson this time around, and settle all the things we should have settled in the 60s and 70s, now, one time, so we can get on with the future we all want to build and live in. And the soundtrack for that future, is the question this song asks…..
