The world’s best weekly is about to become the world’s best bi-weekly.
One of the very best publications ever, New York Magazine, has announced that it will change it’s publishing frequency from weekly to bi-weekly. This is a huge loss(but not a big shock, since the cost of putting out a weekly publication is enormous). The move will save the magazine $3.5 million a year, but for magazine lovers, it means 26 less issues of memorable content and attitude a year.
