Former FBI Director James Comey testified before open session in Congress yesterday. There was little that was discussed in his open session testimony that had either not been heard before or leaked before. However, he did also testify in closed session and the topics of that testimony have not yet been revealed.
British PM Theresa May has failed to gain a majority in the UK’s “snap election”. Calling for the election, on the eve of Brexit negotiations was a gamble she made but lost by not winning a majority. She is now faced with a “hung parliament” Check the English papers below for the implications.
The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Nashville Predators in game 5 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Penguins, playing at home, won by the score of 6-0. They need to win only one more game to take the Cup.
Golden State took over the last three minutes of their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and won the third game of the NBA playoff series, 118-113. Golden State now has a 3-0 lead over the Cavs.
