Hurricane Harvey dominates the American national news coverage, as the city begins to bail out, dig out, repair, rennovate, and recover from one of the most catastrophic storms in history. It’s going to be challenge.
North Korea dominates the international news because it once again detonated a nuclear weapon. Handling that threat is going to be a challenge. Let’s hope that the dysfunctional Congress and Administration are up to taking on both Harvey and North Korea and providing stellar leadership and results.
Alabama beat Florida State in last night’s major season-opening college football game. Alabama was ranked No.1, Florida State was ranked No. 3. Alabama won by a score of 24-7; especially painful for Florida State was the loss of their starting quarterback, Deondre Francois, in the fourth quarter with a leg injury.
Today is National U.S. Bowling League Day. Keep’em rolling.
