Ever walk into a house that has the fire going and the smell of Christmas all around? There is a special smell to the season of Christmas and it should be a part of your decorations just like hanging garland and decorating a tree. Although there seems to be a bit of mystery to creating the Christmas “smell”, it’s not that hard to do, once you have the right guidance and instruction. Which is right before you. Give it a try and see if , once you do, your house is the one that just seems to embody Christmas in all its forms….

At Christmas one key skill(which has a very good shelf life) of the season  is package wrapping. Women seem to know–genetically–how to do it better than guys. But, hey, there’s no reason why you can’t put yourself in the Gift Wrapping Hall of Fame once you learn a few basics and treat it as a pleasure and not an obligation…It all starts with a good education. Good Morning, it’s Thursday, 21 December 2017, and this is the Morning edition of The Nightshift, the World’s Daily News Source.
The Republican administration is on the verge of  their first major legislative win as the tax reform bill has passed through Congress. Now comes the reckoning: will the electorate see the bill as good and fair or preferential for the rich? By this time next year, after the 2018 elections, we shall know.
Wofford College beat the University of North Carolina (ranked number 5) by the score of 79 to 75. Embarrassing loss for the Heels, but it won’t mean much when the serious business of ACC play and the tournament rolls around–unless there are a lot more losses like this one.
Today is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year.  Optimists will note that every day from this one forward is longer. Cheer up. The dark days of winter are soon behind you.
