British politics are in an uneasy state due to the results of the recent general election, which saw the Theresa May’s power severely eroded.
There is continuing fallout and anxiety on the split between Saudi Arabia and three other Arab states and Qatar. Some commentators and reporters believe the U.S. created the dangerous split–and will now have to repair it. Qatar is a staunch U.S. ally in the region and hosts a large U.S. airbase used for operations into Afghanistan and other countries in the Middle East.
Adam West, who played Batman in the popular TV series of the same name, has died at age 88.
