Good Morning, it’s Monday, 9 October 2017 and this is the Morning Edition of The Nightshift, the world’s overnight news feed.
Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee and President Trump are waging a rather spectacular war of words. Corker has said the current White House is like an “adult day care center”. Funny stuff, but it’s just business as usual in Washington.
Harvey Weinstein has been fired from the company he founded with his brother, Bob, The Weinstein Company, as fallout from a New York Times piece that alleges decades of very bad behavior on his part, continues.
Both the Yankees and the Red Sox won yesterday in their baseball playoff battles with Cleveland and Houston. Both teams are now down 2-1 in overall game wins in the best of five series.

We thank them for sharing. The Nightshift is a production of Perception Engineering and The Media Bunker. This post is number 1388  for this site. The Nightshift is a continually evolving experiment in news communications. Currently, comments on the world’s news have been (severely) limited and a photo of one important story of the day is often included. It’s rapid iteration. Thanks for reading. Now–catch up on the world.
