No Surprise. There’s turmoil at the Consumer Protection Bureau as the outgoing head of the agency appoints his own successor and the President appoints a different person. Expect a court case.
President Trump claims he took himself out of the running for Time Magazine’s “2017 Person of the Year”. Rather odd claim, since Trump had fake Time Magazine “Person of the Year” covers hanging in his golf clubs and businesses. Trump was “Person of the Year” in 2016 after winning the Presidential Election.
The Number 2 football team in the country, Miami lost to Pittsburgh by the score of 24-14. Miami was previously undefeated. The loss scrambles, again, the national playoff picture. No. 1 Alabama plays cross state rival Auburn today in another key football game.
Today is National Blase’ Day. It’s OK. It’s also Small Business Saturday, which is one of the more creative business promotions going. If you’re shopping today, shopping at a small business in your hometown would be a great thing to do.
